The position of Compliance Officer was introduced into the organizational structure of JSC "Moynak HPP named after U.D.Kantaev" (hereinafter - the Company) within the framework of initiatives, measures and actions taken by the Board of Directors and the Management Board of the Company in order to:
- ensuring compliance with mandatory regulatory requirements and best international practices, including on anti-corruption issues;
- formation of the internal corporate culture of the Company, which ensures transparency, honesty among all employees and creates conditions for doing business in accordance with the best international standards, internal policies and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The Compliance Officer carries out his activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of the Company, the Collective Agreement, the Code of Conduct of the Company, the Corporate Governance Code, the Regulations on the Compliance Officer of the Company and other internal documents of the Company. The Compliance Officer is accountable to the Board of Directors of the Company, is independent from the Management Board of the Company, and is also empowered and provided with the resources necessary to perform his duties.
By the decision of the Board of Directors of the Company dated June 16, 2021, Nurpeisova Zhanat Khairullayevna was appointed Compliance Officer of the Company.
